The Brinsworth Manor Junior School speak about the impact of SoundStart

Brinsworth Manor started SoundStart in 2004.
A year on most of these children continued to play.
Taught in small groups in Y6
Lottery money for after school activities enabled this group to continue to play together as a ‘band’.
In September 05, because the project had been so successful the school funded ‘SOUNDSTART 2.
This group are now in Y6 and have continued in Y6 as a class Soundstart group.
Soundstart 3 began Sept 06 – new class of Y5 children and is continuing....
